The Plan

Step 1: Fitness

You’re here for a reason. You want something more for your child (or they want more for themselves!). We’re here for that, too. We believe the beginning of that, ‘something’, is fitness.

We’re helping address the need for adaptive youth engagement in fitness. If you’re the parent or guardian of an adaptive youth whom you feel would benefit from having a supportive community of other athletes and trained instructors guiding them, you’ve come to the right place.

Fitness is a powerful tool which can combat or improve many facets of a young individual’s health, such as stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, anxiety, arthritis and some types of cancers.

A benefit to the reduction of the aforementioned health issues are enhanced cognitive function, increased mood and a natural energy boost which typically leads to more activity during the day and better sleep at night.

Fitness can do all of that?!? YES! Fitness can help do all of that!

Oh, and if you don’t think that’s beneficial enough, fitness can bring wonderful people together who will support each other’s aspirations and keep them engaged, excited and accountable.

Does this sound like something they could use? If so, you’re ready for step 2!

Step 2: Begin The Journey

Headquarters

Portsmouth, OH

An organization like this can only be born in a place like Portsmouth, OH. This blue-collared town of 22,000 was once the center of the opioid crisis. Now, it’s a center for commerce and has been galvanized by the spirit of the people who populate the area. They are driven by its fitness community and adaptive athletes who visit its riverbank.

As the organization and its sister businesses (PSKC Crossfit, DOC SPARTAN) go, so does the American pride of Portsmouth. Our athletes can be found around the globe, but our drive for confidence, independence, purpose are derived from the city by the river.
